
Georgia Palaiologou was born in Johannesburg (South Africa) and is a lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association and a graduate of the department of law of the Democritus University of Thrace.
She is specialized in criminal law and civil rights, and had been certified on legal issues on information technologies through a training program of the University of Macedonia. Furthermore, she is an active member of the Athens Bar Association, expertise in cases of domestic violence, in collaboration with many organizations.
As a member of the Hellenic League for Human Rights, she has also collaborated with the UNHCR to take on cases of strategic litigation for asylum seekers and victims of racist violence. Last but not least, she is a member of the legal team (legal aid) of the Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA) and of the Legal Experts Advisory Panel (L.E.A.P) of the NGO Fair Trials International.
